Music at the funeral, cremation or other funeral ceremony is often used today. Many times certain songs had special significance for the deceased or the next of kin.And live sung music has much more impact and is a lot more personal than playing a CD or recording.
Rick is happy to sing those intense songs with passion during the ceremony. It gives reflection and comfort and allows family, friends and acquaintances to share in the love for music and its meaning.
Because Rick D. Funeral Singer has such a super large repertoire in both the Dutch and English language (and some German, French, Portuguese and Italian), chances are that this favorite song or the song with that special meaning can be found in his songlist. Use the ‘seach’ field and enter the title or name of the artist or band. You will immediately see whether the song in question is included.
Of course that can also be multiple songs, as often happens during a funeral. This can take place in a church at a funeral, or in a crematorium at a cremation. Or occasionally in a different place where a special commemoration or ceremony is held in memory of the deceased.
There are even funerals in which the deceased has determined that his ceremony may lead to raising a glass and a small party for celebrating the life lived. And so it happened…
In all these cases Rick D. Funeral Singer can assist you. Because his passion for music and singing is as great as life itself. And he is only too happy to share it.

What music would YOU like to hear tonight?
No more complaining about the music you hear during a “live” night. “It was fun, but the band just didn’t play the songs I would have liked to hear …” that’s a common reproach after a random night out. Well, that’s a thing of the past now.
Because Rick D. Singer has come up with a new concept together with “… fill in the name of the organization or location …”: Interactive Live Music, or “Rick’s Music Carousel with Request Songs“. You can choose what you want to hear. Write down the name of an artist or band and chances are that Rick has the right song for you (no guarantees though hahahaha…).
With a repertoire of over 2500 international songs, it is possible that your favorite song is also included. As long as it was an old hit and not a really new song, the chance of a “match” is very high. You can also specify whether you want to hear a song in a particular genre. Plenty of possibilities: country, reggae, folk, rock, jazzy, motown, soul, disco, south american, hard rock, funk, easy listening, blues, rock-and-roll, pop, sixties, seventies, eighties.
How does it work?
Simply come to the ‘… REQUEST NIGHT …’ evening of ‘… organization or location …’ on … date … . From … time … you can send your own requests to Rick. You can search in the complete songlist with your phone / tablet and immediately email the title or Rick D. Request Singer. You can also write on a note … Almost all of the songs are English, but there also a few German, French, Portuguese, Italian and a lot of Dutch songs. Click here for the full international song list.
Your request may well be a “guilty pleasure“; a song that is actually ‘not done’, but still nice to hear. How about “Puppy Love” from Donny Osmond or “Just when I needed you most” by Randy VanWarmer. Rick receives the requests on the spot and sings them one by one. Everyone is happy because you can hear the music that you like to listen to. Cozy, fun and sometimes a little hilarious.
‘… name of organization or location …’ provides various free snacks during the evening, because socializing and having a drink just ‘needs’ a tasty snack. The IDEAL combination!
So this will be an EVENING FULL OF MUSICAL SURPRISES. Be surprised, choose yourself, come, enjoy and have fun at ‘… name of organization or location …’ on … date … And no, you don’t have to sing the chosen songs yourself, Rick D. Request Singer will do that for you (again: no warranties given…)
P.S. You can also just give a number and Rick D. Request Singer will search for the corresponding song (he has numbered all his songs). Wonder what will come out of that? It looks like a lottery draw and the prize sounds like music to your ears …
